Chicago, IL — Nology Interactive, a subsidiary of TeamWorks Media specializing in Web design and development, today launched a re-branded and re-designed www.chicagomarathon.com for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon.

The goal of the new design was to better emulate the Bank of America brand while continuing to illustrate the event’s emotion and intensity. With refreshed imagery and modernized header graphics, the site’s brighter, fresh design features elements currently employed on the live site, specifically in layout, to ensure that the transition to the new site is a user-friendly experience for familiar end users.

Nology also optimized the design for updated web standards, expanding it to a 960-pixel wide layout – the standard for portal, news, and event-driven sites – to offer more space and flexibility for content.

Also the hosting provider for www.chicagomarthon.com and www.shamrockshuffle.com, Nology has overseen three design revamps of the event site since launching its first redesign in August 2007.
